![]() Energy is in constant movement and changes with the ebb and flow of the frequency within its environment. When we think of energy in terms of emotions, we can focus on the Law of Thought, to grasp a greater understanding of this ebb and flow. Our mind is constantly filled with thoughts and these thoughts carry with it an emotion. The emotion itself can be thought of as a frequency, similar to a beacon sending out a transmission signal. This frequency can’t be seen, but yet we know that it exists, that it works just as freely and easily as the wireless signal connected to your phone or computer. Sometimes this signal is felt more strongly as the energy connected to the thought creates a powerful emotion, and this emotion emits in return a strong frequency out into its environment. This frequency we send out shapes our experiences and what we receive back in return. When life gives us challenges and the mind starts to fill up with the chatter of “I can’t handle this” or “I’m not good enough”, the emotion attached to those thoughts can become so strong that we instantly put up barriers and try to convince ourselves that by not facing the challenge or taking the necessary actions to deal with what life has presented, that it may just go away, or that we won’t have to deal with the fear of failing. The truth however is felt directly in the body, as this emotion has now been suppressed. This suppression over time starts to feel heavy, and with this heaviness more thoughts begin to form, more emotions are attached to those thoughts, and the cycle of beating ourselves up or justifying the fear plays over and over again, creating more heaviness, more stress, more fear, more anxiety. What if the frequency changed? What if you allowed yourself to really look at the challenge in front of you and take just one small step towards facing it? What if you changed the thought to “I’m not sure how to fix this, but I’m willing to try” or “I failed last time, but now I’ve learnt a bit more so I’m going to try again”. By changing your thoughts, you change your emotion, and by changing this emotion your frequency changes. Life in return responds through sending you just the right message, or person, or opportunity to help you take that next step forward. Keeping your thoughts on “I can’t” or “I’m scared” will leave you stuck. Taking a deep breath and stating “I’m willing to try” opens up beautiful opportunities to grow and empower yourself. There is no guarantee that by facing the challenge you will be successful, but knowing and understanding that failure is a beautiful opportunity to learn and strengthen your skills, might make it worthwhile to stand up once more, face the challenge, and try again.
